Almost. Shopify orders arrive straight away through webhooks. Other platforms, such as Shoper, WooCommerce, Allegro and eBay, are checked on a schedule, every minute by default, and Amazon every few minutes. A new order usually shows up in the panel within a minute or a few minutes of being placed.
Every company gets a dedicated server and its own database, so your data is not mixed with other customers. Connections are encrypted, access is controlled by user roles, and a daily encrypted backup lets the data be restored if something fails.
